Mary & Nick’s Wedding Ceremony in Glastonbury, CT
by Val on Nov.28, 2009, under Wedding & Engagement
Hey everyone,
This was a very special day to me as a wedding photographer. While my style is mixed – mostly PJ, but also some candids, some formals and quite a bit of my trade mark “green” style, what you see here is pure photojournalism – in the true sense of the word. None of these shots were posed or formally arranged in any way.
Below are a couple of selected photos from Mary and Nick’s wedding ceremony in Glastonbury, CT.

Wild, Crazy & Beautiful: Niki & Eli’s Wedding
by Val on Sep.03, 2009, under Wedding & Engagement
Every once in a while you get to know people who are one of a kind. The moment you meet them you feel how special they are. Niki & Eli totally redefined the rules – charged with emotion, bombastic and hilarious – in the best sense of the word – and yet being 100% themselves.
No formal posing ever took place at this wedding. Everything was photographed on the go, capturing the moment and moving on to the next one – the purest form of photojournalism I have ever done.
Eli was absolutely unique in her own way – very very different from most CT brides I have photographed. And what can I say about Niki… Man, you ROCK! Both of you look so happy together. Once again, my sincere congratulations! WHAT A BLAST!!!
