Krass & Irka’s Fun in the Wind Mill Fields
by Val on Mar.31, 2010, under Wedding & Engagement
Hey there gang!
I’ve got an interesting story for you today. Krass, myself & Irka were recently driving through this huge field of hundreds and hundreds of wind mills on the way to an outdoor wedding session I had to do. I saw the wind mills and… fell in love with them! How cool it would be – I was thinking – if we did a couple of photos around this place.
So on our way back when we were passing through the same place the sun had already started setting. We saw the great color and decided to pull over and capture as much of it as we could – right off the road. I got to experiment with my fisheye lens and Krass and Irka were excited to try some quite unusual, hmmm, I’d say, plain crazy poses.
Bottom line: this was tons of unexpected fun! Too bad it was just a quick improvised shoot and we didn’t have more time to enjoy ourselves. Well, may be next time – right before the wedding :-)
P.S. Krass = the same Krass who takes many of my portraits and videos, and happens to be a pretty darn good photographer!

Val, your fisheye photos are very inspirational! Inspiration is not the right word for me it’s infectious … I was infected from your art and bought a fisheye lens and can’t wait to find free time to test it.
Keep on making your clients happy!

Thanks so much for the good words my friend. You are right – indeed it is infectious! Once you get bitten by the bug, there’s no turning back :-)
You’ve got to be careful though. As cool as they are, fisheye lenses are just tools. I try not to let a tool become an end into itself, especially when it comes to this particular lens, let alone photographing people with it. I am sure you’ll quickly get a feel what it’s like with your new toy. Play with it & enjoy!
KEEP ROCKING,
Val

Val, you have so great ideas, when you take pictures … In fact I was wondering what we are going to do in this fields, but the “task” was to kissing Krass, so I took it to heart and enjoy it to the full :)) Now, when I see the result, I lealize that your “lens” for the outside world are different, and that is what distinguish you from other people – you’re a real creator man …
Hugs,
Irka

Muchos gracias Irka,
You guys were awesome! …Haha, next time we are introducing the “Pernik Bailey’s” factor to the mix – to keep the spirits even higher and the creative juices flowing even faster!!! Can’t wait!
Hugs & smooches,
